Save your Android Micro SD card-how to fix Android memory card

Micro-SD card error become more and more common in Android phone


Although, Most of Andorid phones have bigger and bigger internal memory for data storag, the external Micro-SD card option still exits in many flag-ship Android phone, such as Samsung Galxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2 and HTC One M8, etc.

Because of the convenience for data transfer and storage, Micro-SD card are popular in Andorid phone using, even the phone have a large storage space, most users prefer to make use of this larget storage memory for system and apps running. Micro-SD card use as the data storage tool to save photos, videos, files,for Android phone.

However, due to the frequently data reading and transfering, Mirco-SD card in Android phone is very easy to get error or damage, and the wrong using by users and the low quality of memory card. More and more users face with the situations of memory card reading and writting error in Android phone. For example, photo gallery and music player cannot detect and read the files, apps that were installed in the SD card can't launch,etc. You can see many similar problems in Android forum.



How to fix errors in Android Mirco-SD card


How can we fix or slove problem of Android Micro-SD card? Well, with some help, we are able to fix Android SD card errors as far as possible.

Remember: before you do any rescues for Android SD card, and if your card still can be read by computer, data still exit in the card, you need to back up them for emergencies

Way 1:Ask help for Windows OS disk check tool


Disk check tool in Windows is very familiar for us, it can check hard drive disk error in computer. Indeed, we can use it check memory card error as well.

Firstly, connect the Android Micro-SD card to Windows computer with a card-reader. There are two methords to use disk check tool.

The easier one is go to "my computer", you must can see your Micro-SD card as removable disk, then righy click it to go properties, you can see a "tool" option. OK, a "error check" button, click it, the system will check the error disk in your Android Mirco-SD card.

And other is more professional, open "cmd" in your computer,type""chkdsk H:\ /f" ( You can replace H with your SD card directory name), press"Enter", the automatical fix will begin.

After checking, try to open your SD card to see whenther the file can read normally.Then plug it back to your Android, and check whether problems have sloved.


Way 2:the final ways--formatting


If the former way doesn't work, I am afraid that, you have to format your card. Of course, if your Micro-SD card still can be read by computer or the phone, back up before you format it.

Oh, one trick you need to know, it is better for you to format th Micro-SD card in your Android phone than computer. After formatting, put all the backup files back to your card, check whether it can be read by your phone.

Unfortunately,your Micro-SD card is blank in the device, or can't be read the files as normal, you have to format it without any backup. It means, you have chance to lost all the data in the Micro-SD card.Maybe you can use some recovery sofware to recover Android SD card data.
